What Sounds Like Good News To You?

Over the last few weeks, we have introduced the Book of Romans. We spent 3 Sundays looking at the first 7 verses of this incredible epistle.

Paul would go on to develop the doctrine found in the first 7 verses in the remaining 16 chapters of the Book.

Simply amazing.

If you missed any of these 3 weeks, remember that you can listen to or download those messages from here.

The title of this post asks a simple question: What sounds like good news to you?

From Romans 1:1-7, we saw that there is a plethora of Good News to share. Specifically:

  1. We can have peace and joy as we choose to be bondservants (v. 1)
  2. We are called to serve in a specific way (v. 1)
  3. We have been separated from the world (v. 1)
  4. The Good News of Jesus Christ has been prophesied for hundreds years (v. 2)
  5. Jesus is the Son of Man (v. 3)
  6. Jesus is the Son of God (v. 4)
  7. God is gracious (v. 5)
  8. There is a purpose in life (v. 5)
  9. God has called each of us individually (v. 6)
  10. God loves us (v. 7)
  11. We are Saints (v. 7)

Now that’s a lot of Good News, wouldn’t you say?

Leave a comment or question below and let’s get the question on the table.

Keep your eyes on Jesus!
